Located in the Gulf of Tribugá in the department of Choco, Nuquí is one of the places with the greatest biodiversity on the planet and one of the best places for  the sighting of Yubartas or Humpbacks whales, which after traveling 8,000 kilometers from the Antarctic Peninsula, come in search of the heat of the tropics to copulate and give birth to their young.
